Arjay Lewis (aka R.J. Lewis) is an award-winning author, entertainer, and magician. He has experienced every level of show business from street-performing to Broadway.
    Arjay’s novel, The Muse: A Novel of Unrelenting Terror, has won 14 awards in the Horror category including: the 2017 NYC Big Book Award; the 2017 Beverly Hills Book Award; the 2018 National Indie Excellence Award; the 2018 Independent Author Network Book Award; the gold medal at both the 2018 eLit Book Awards and the 2018 Readers’ Favorite Book Awards. He also is the author of the In The Mind series, which consists of seven novels with more to come.
   Arjay’s published stories have appeared in H.P. Lovecraft Magazine Of Horror, Weird Tales, and Sherlock Holmes Mystery Magazine. He also has been published in the anthology The Ultimate Halloween.
    He has collaborated on several films including: Down In Flames: The True Story Of Tony ‘Volcano’ Valenci, which has won seven Film Festival awards. His screenplay for Dummy (co-written with Pamela Wess) was the winning screenplay for the 2017 Garden State Film Festival.
   He is married to the author of romantic mysteries, Debra Snow.

  Halfway through college I experienced an identity crisis and joined the army. Through a series of fortunate mishaps, I ended up stationed in Frankfurt at the 97th General Hospital. There was a small club on a nearby Air Force base called the Jaegerstube.
  One Wednesday night in early 1979, as I enjoyed dinner, there suddenly was a beautiful girl in a silver costume who belly danced through the room. I approached her in the dressing room and begged to take classes with her. She was gorgeous, delightful, and enthused to have such an avid student. She freely shared her knowledge with me and I did my debut performance at the Jaegerstube.
   Over the next ten years, I studied dance and created a full time business going that I loved. Most of my work was local at first: fiftieth birthday parties, retirements, and nursing homes.My performing life grew to include cruise ships, Greek night clubs, resorts in the Poconos and Catskills, and TV appearances. I produced an audio tape and book series with Parade Records call ed "Let's Belly Dance!". I also produced my own instructional cable TV show.
   When my husband began writing and then publish, I became inspired to try my hand at the romantic mystery genre, which was a perfect complement to Arjay’s paranormal mysteries.
